We had a pretty busy day today.  Ana Kate had a super rough night last night.  As soon as I tucked her in bed she threw up, but it wasn't nearly as bad as the night before.  She didn't sleep very well last night though...she cried several times and eventually got in bed with us.  I think she was having bad dreams as well because she talked in her sleep all night.  Hoping she does better tonight.

We met my friend Tammy for lunch and it was so nice to catch up with her.  Ana Kate didn't behave as well as I would have liked, but it wasn't too bad.  However, we stopped by baby Gap on the way home and I just took her in without the stroller (big mistake) and she was terrible!  She didn't want to hold my hand and kept trying to get away from me.  So I tried to hold her, but she wouldn't hold on and was fighting to get down and then starting crying VERY loudly.  I was SO disappointed in her behavior.  I tried talking to her, but she just screamed louder, so I just put everything down and we left.  She continued to cry in the car and by the time we got home she was asleep.  I have had trouble with her before in that store when I don't take the stroller and being naptime probably didn't help either.  So I told her until she could behave like a big girl that she would be riding in the stroller...no exceptions.  So after nap we decided to try going to Target (Ana Kate loves going there).  She was absolutely perfect in there...of course I made her stay in the cart, but she was such a good girl!  So we went from one extreme to the other today.  We met Doug's parents for dinner tonight, it was so nice not have to cook at all today.

I did get out on our front porch to take pictures earlier...so much better than indoor lighting.  It's rainy and cold here....hoping for more sun soon.
