Today it was super hot outside, so we just stayed at home all day.  Ana Kate watched some movies and played games with Doug while I edited some photos from my session yesterday.  I'm almost finished with it....I just have a few more left.  I'll probably finish it up tomorrow.  Tonight was our long night at church and we had 6 toddlers tonight.  We had a couple that cried, so it was a little tougher than usual....but not bad.

Ana Kate didn't nap today, so she fell asleep pretty early.  I'm going to try to go to bed soon as well because I'm pretty tired too.

Today I was up and out of the house early for my photo session with Preston & Emeline.  My Mom came over to watch Ana Kate and she was so happy to see Mimi this morning!  It was already hot outside when I got to the location, but we had plenty of shade and the session went really well.  Emeline is the smallest baby that I've photographed so it was great experience and I did learn a few things for future sessions.  Preston and Emeline's Mom is a friend of mine from MOPS and her children are absolutely adorable and very well behaved.  I think Eme is one of the best babies I ever seen....she only cried once and that just lasted a few seconds.  And Preston was such a trooper out there...I know he was getting bored, but he stuck it out until the end!  I had a wonderful time and I'm so happy with the images I was able to capture.  I can't wait to show Kelda a sneak peek!

My photo session was in Bentonville and I passed through the square on the way home, so I stopped by the cupcake shop to get some treats.  Ana Kate was so excited when she saw them.  They were SO good!  We started off with six, but I didn't take a picture until later...notice the strawberry and lemon are missing their garnish on top.  lol!  I will definitely be stopping by there again.

After I got home we hung out with Mimi and attempted to clean house.  When Doug got home we made a quick trip to Sam's and then came home for dinner. 

I started editing the session pictures tonight and I'm only about halfway done....but I couldn't resist posting a couple on here.

Today we got up early and went to check out a couple of locations for photo sessions.  I really liked them both for different reasons.  I have a photo shoot tomorrow with a 3 month old and her 2 yr old brother....so I wanted to make sure and pick the best location.  Ana Kate helped me take some test shots and she did really well at the first location, but was pretty much done by the second location.  We had a fun morning, but it was SO hot!!  We were out there before 9am and we were already sweating!  After that we went to a couple of stores and headed home for lunch.  Ana Kate fell asleep around 1 and took a great nap.  While she was sleeping I got my pictures edited....so I thought I'd post early tonight.  It's so much nicer when I don't wait until the last minute.  lol.

Today we did lots of shopping.  I recently ordered several 12x12 prints of Ana Kate and I was hoping to find some nice but inexpensive frames for them.  I went to Hobby Lobby to look for them and not only did they have them, but they were on sale 50% off!  So I got a good deal and they look great!  I will take a picture to post on here once I hang them on the wall.

We also made a trip to Target with Whitney and by the time we left we had a very cranky 2 yr old.  She fell asleep on the way home so I cleaned up around the house during her late nap.

Not much else going on around here.  I plan on getting up early in the morning, so I'm off to bed.

Today we made the trip back home.  We made a quick stop by my aunt's house to see my cousin's baby Rhys and then hit the road by noon.  Ana Kate finally fell asleep around the halfway point and slept until we got home.  As soon as we got in the house she ran upstairs to Whitney's room and said...'Whitney, did you miss me?'  It was cute, but I did put her up to it.  She spent a long time in Whitney's room and when she finally came down she started twirling around with her hands on her hips showing me her pretty hair.  Whitney had curled it and it was cute!  After that we made a quick trip to the grocery store and now we're relaxing before bed.

Today we hung out at Papa's house and Ana Kate played with her cousin Brad.  They had fun coloring, watching movies, and chasing each other around.  My friend Michelle came over and we visited for a while and then went to meet her family for dinner.  Ana Kate was glued to Michelle's 6 year-old son, Matthew....she immitated everything he did and gave him hugs and kisses.  It was cute!

I took pictures in the garden again tonight while Ana Kate looked for more tomatos to pick.

Finally a real update.....I was out late on Friday and Saturday night catching up with my old classmates and it was SO much fun!  Saturday afternoon was the family day of our reunion and the kids swam and had ice cream.  Ana Kate stayed in the pool the entire time and Doug stayed out there and watched her so I could visit with everyone.  I know Ana Kate and I had fun....but not sure Doug enjoyed it, but he made sure I was able to.  He's such a good husband!

Doug opted to stay home Saturday night and watch Ana Kate, so...I had another late night, a few drinks, and a lot of laughs.  The reunion was so much fun and I was so happy to catch up with everyone.  Everyone had so much fun that we're planning on doing it again in 5 years.

This morning I was so tired!  But I got ready so we could go out to lunch before Doug headed back home.  Ana Kate and I are going to stay here for a few more days to visit friends.  After Doug left we went to visit Taryn and Piper and on the way back to Papa's house Ana Kate fell asleep.

After Ana Kate's late nap we went out to Papa's garden and picked some cucumbers and tomatos...she loves the garden, she has her dress full of cherry tomatos in that last picture.  I'm hoping for an early bedtime tonight.

Having tons of fun catching up with old friends at my 20 year high school reunion.  Here are a couple of pictures of Ana Kate after dinner.  Probably won't have a really good update until Sunday, but enjoy the pictures!

We had a great day today....Ana Kate was in a wonderful mood and did everything I asked her.  She slept late this morning and went to bed early (well 8:15....which is early for her).  So I had lots of time to pack for our trip tomorrow and I just can't seem to get anything done.  So...I really need to make it short tonight, because we plan on hitting the road early tomorrow.  I have my 20 year class reunion this weekend!!  It's hard to believe it's been that long.  I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone, just not happy about the long drive.  I will be taking lots of pictures this weekend, but my posts may be super short because I don't anticipate spending much time on the laptop.
