Today we got up early and headed out to Branson by 8:30.  We went to meet Haven's family and visit.  They live in Nebraska, but were in Branson vacationing this week, so we decided to drive over and meet them.  Haven was adopted from the same orphanage as Ana Kate (she was actually born the same week that we traveled to Vietnam to complete our adoption), so she is almost 10 months younger than Ana Kate.  It was so nice to finally meet Shae (Haven's Mommy) in person.  We have talked online since well before we traveled to get our girls, so it was quite a treat to spend some time with them.  Ana Kate and I met most of Shae's family and of course Haven's two older brothers.  We had an amazing time!  Shae's Mom and  sister cooked a wonderful brunch of waffles, sausage, eggs, and fruit salad...it was wonderful!  And so nice and thoughful of them.  A bit later we had brownies and ice cream as well....so we had plenty to eat while we visited.  Ana Kate had a great time playing with all of the kids and only took Haven's toys away a couple of times....but Haven was so good about it, she is so easy going and such a good girl.  And did I mention how adorable she is?  Toward the end of our visit we went outside for some pictures and Ana Kate and Haven held hands and gave hugs and kisses....super cute!  We left soon after so the kids could all get their naps in.  We had such a good time!  Thanks so much to Shae and her wonderful family for having us...it was so nice to meet everyone!  Hopefully we'll be able to do it again sometime in the future....it was so sweet seeing the girls play together.

Ana Kate fell asleep within 2 miles once we left, but I still stopped by the outlet mall to do a little shopping before heading home.  Ana Kate slept in her stroller the entire time until I was done.  When she woke up I let her ride the little carousel at the mall and then we went home.  A very busy, but fun day!

We took several pictures...and Ana Kate was struggling with me in all them...can you tell??
