Today we went to Tulsa and shopped ALL day.  We didn't buy much, but we had a great day!  The weather was pretty gloomy again today so we thought we'd get out of the house and do something.  Ana Kate was such a good girl in the car and was so well behaved today....I was SO proud of her.

I took my camera with me, but it was just so yucky outside that I didn't really take many pictures.  I got a couple of Ana Kate being silly in the car.  The reason she has a bib on in her car seat is because she was getting ready to eat her snack.

As we got close to home it started snowing/sleeting, hopefully it won't stick...we still have snow on the ground from the last storm!

Not much going on today.  Ana Kate took a long bath with her new Barbie and dolphins...she loved it!  She loves her baths anyway, but a new toy was an excuse to play even longer than usual.

We taught toddler class tonight at church and then went to the 2nd service.  This month our church is doing a series about marriage and tonights sermon was very good.  I'm looking forward to the next 3 weeks and what we'll learn.

Not much else...we came home, had dinner, and then I took some really quick photos.  Ana Kate was playing with her magic wand (that's the blur in the picture above).

We got up early today because we had our MOPS meeting this morning.  It was really fun and we had a lot of chatting time this week.  Ana Kate had fun too and made a Valentine for me while she was in class.  It was super cute and she was excited to give it to me.  While we were there it started snowing again....but, it was back to rain by the time we left.

Ana Kate fell asleep on the way home, which didn't surprise me since she woke up a 5:30 this morning.  She slept for about 2 hours, but was a little cranky when she woke up, which is very unusual.  Maybe getting up so early didn't agree with her....I know it didn't agree with me!

We met Doug at Target when he got off work and then went out for dinner.  Ana Kate got her first Barbie...she's been asking for the one with the dolphins that can go in the bathtub.  She wanted to open it on the way to dinner, but I just let her get the dolphins out.  So she talked to the dolphins and played with them on the way...it was so cute to listen to her playing.  She loves it and is still playing with them as I type this.

Today I had lunch with some friends that I used to work with.  It was so nice to see them, but we never have enough time to chat.  Ana Kate could have behaved better, but she has such a big personality it's hard for her sit still and be quiet.  Next time I might try to leave her with a sitter because it was tough to chat with little miss energy beside me.  : )

We also went to the store to buy another modem for our computer...it works great, but it wasn't really the issue.  I guess now we need a new wireless router....but at least I'm back online!  I don't think I realized how dependent I've become on the Internet...it is just awful when we don't have it.  I can go online with my blackberry, but it's kind of a pain, so I rarely do that.

Ana Kate didn't nap today....so much for being back on schedule.  I did try, but she was still awake at 2:30, so I just let her get up.  I will just put her to bed early tonight because we have an early day tomorrow.

Photos were quick and the lighting wasn't the best...but I like the one I posted.  I am SO tired of the snow...and now I hear they are forecasting even more for next week!  I hope they are wrong....I need some sunshine and warmer temps!

My girl loves spaghetti!

I had internet issues last night....my post was done...but no way to post it.  I'm buying a new modem today, so hopefully I'll have more luck tonight.

UPDATE:  Well we probably needed a new modem anyway since our other one was about 6 years old.  But it was actually our wireless router causing the issues.  In any case I'm back online...yay!  What would we do without the Internet??

We had a busy day at home today.  Lots of laundry and cleaning....but there's always more to do.  Ana Kate took a nap again today, so I think she is officially back on her normal schedule.  Yay!  Today after her nap she was laying on the couch with me and she started rubbing her hand on my forehead and face, then she kissed my forehead and said, 'I love you Mommy'.  It was so precious....I love those moments!

I took pictures before nap today, but all Ana Kate wanted to do was hide....so this was the best one.  I'm hoping to get some outdoor photos tomorrow.

I am so excited to watch Lost tonight....yay!  So I'm off to finish laundry before tv time...

We took Cricket back to the vet today and if was a lovely experience.  Cricket is the best dog, but she gets extremely nervous at the vet.  Add in Ana Kate running around trying to pull her on the leash and talking super loud and it was quite a lovely outing.  I was so happy when we finally got home!  Not much else today besides grocery shopping. 

Ana Kate did nap today and was in such a good mood when she got up.  I was holding her right after she woke up and she was looking at my feet and says...'Oh Mommy I love your walking shoes.'  It's funny to me that she called them that because I typically only wear tennis shoes if we are going for a walk.  Lately when I suggest we do something she will always say...'That's a great idea Mom!'.  And then the other day we were walking into the bookstore and I was letting her go to the children's section.  I asked her if she was going to behave and looked up at me and said ' You Betcha'.  I have no idea where she got that....none of us ever say that...but it was SO funny.

So...one month down and 11 left to go on my 365 project.  I have to say it's been pretty easy so far, but today it was tough to even attempt pictures.  Ana Kate actually didn't mind...of course she had chocolate again, so she was happy.

Ana Kate loves Josh and she loves his iphone....he is sweet and always lets her play with it.
